PROJECT
Together with our new cooperation partner Naturschutz im Sande e.V. we are taking a lizard perspective in line with the motto “Support you local lizard”. On a remote wasteland on the estate in Neuendorf im Sande, we are building a lizard paradise with the help of the nature conservation experts, which will not only provide fantastic conditions for our little friends. A “nature conservation sculpture park” is being created. To this end, we are working together with various artists under the art term NBM (Neue Brandenburger Malerei).
We have excavated 2 pits between the old cowshed and the station housing estate, behind the rental buildings. We are now converting the pits into functioning reptile castles. In a joint effort, one of the pits has almost been filled with boulders from the surrounding area and hardwood in all sizes. Now a dew and rain collection construction is being built to supply the sand lizards with water. Reptiles will warm up under a metal plate construction in spring so that we can count them. Last but not least, an observation post is planned.
