DoK15518 invites 3 artists to live together with their children for a month in the Haus des Wandels, to work on their own artistic projects or to develop something together and to try out different formats of co-parenting.

Living:
The residence is the HDW in Heinersdorf (15518), i.e. communal living in a queer-feminist place in the countryside. Shared large kitchen with the 10-20 residents. There is also a smaller guest kitchen. Shared bathrooms. 1-2 bedrooms per artist + child and enough space to set up retreat and play areas.

Childcare:
Childcare is self-organised by the artists. There will be support in the form of inputs on co-parenting/self-organisation with children, contact persons and exchange rounds. Children will also live on site. Several children's programmes are expected to take place independently of the residency.

Art:
Shared studio. Infrastructure for various workspace/workshop/material needs, by arrangement.
We are not planning a joint final exhibition. There is the possibility of presenting something at events such as the HDW summer festival. Opportunities to exchange ideas with the artists from LandKunstLeben, Zusane and HDW.

Period: 22.07 - 19.08.24
We would like you to be present on site, if possible for the whole month.
What's included: Accommodation, shared studio, 750€ fee, 500€ material allowance
