This year, there will once again be an artist-with-child residency, which aims to enable active professionals to try their hand at rural regions, fall in love, and connect with what already is and what could be.

That's why we're looking for you!

From July 31, 2026, to August 9, 2026 (latest departure), we invite you to 15518 Steinhöfel. We offer accommodation, summer, transportation to our location, shared meals, the most beautiful lake in the district, time and space, and things for art.

It is important to us that you have time to engage with your art, despite and because of your role as a caregiver. If you feel like presenting something, that is wonderful, of course, and we will support you in doing so. At the same time, however, it is not a must. First and foremost, you should have an inspiring time.

A daily 4-hour artistic childcare program is planned for the children. At the same time, we support and encourage solidarity-based co-parenting within the residencies.

The works created by the children will be auctioned off at a large auction during the Landkunstleben summer festival on August 8, 2026. The proceeds will benefit freedom of movement for all.

• Breakfast and dinner are provided. Lunch is organized by the group itself.
• An awareness and mediation team is available in case problems or conflicts arise.
• Input is provided on various transformative perspectives on work, life, and art.
• A small budget is available for travel expenses and materials, and there is plenty of space for creative work.
• There are no individual studios, but we can help you create a space for yourself that is a little more private for working.
